Before I knew it, the second bound-volumes were already extracted from the forest of new-release stacks to the storage space, saving the sole winner whose lonely, inconspicuous spine was visible on the UJ-YJC-designated shelf. As I gently coerced the silent figure away from his solemn, snug crevice, I felt a pang of guilt running up from my fingertips. Forgive me for allowing life to banish you from my thoughts. I spent a full twenty minutes drinking in the exquisite detail on his body. A soft moan of satisfaction and an inaudible rustle of the jacket's sleeve brushing against his skin. I then laid him next to his kin inside a mahogany cabinet and slid the glass door shut.
It took me nearly two months to suppress the strong, intrinsic indolence and fight back against the universe's inertia--evil responsibilities aside, and pick him up again and translate. What I want to say is: I am very sorry for the long seven months. Please enjoy the seventh tale. You won't have to wait eight months for the eight tale, I have already finished translating it.
Before you allow yourself to enjoy the fruit of my suffering *chuckles*, please read my dramatic plea.
As you know I have been very busy for the past several months. Things have certainly aggravated now that my SFX letterer and English proofreaders have to take time off for their jobs and personal responsibilities. This means I have to do nearly every step by myself. It makes it impossible for any project to progress. Please apply for the vacancies if you think you are capable. Or even if you don't think you are, but wish to try, by all means, apply. We (or simply I) are very willing to interview you. Message me directly on Discord for any position.
No comment. (lol) Enjoy!
Very good...mafening--I shall now propose this word as a neologism, for we, consent slaves of the society, need not time division within a day--I believe you all miss me dearly, may I present you the delicious Chapter 28.
I know, I was also shocked to find that I had had this chapter ready since three months ago but forgot to release it.
Sorry for the absence. I'll be back soon. Like...next week soon!
Right, if you believe in me, you will trust my quick-qcing in the middle of the night.
You know, these were translated long ago. I just never had time to quality-check. I translated the fourth tale within 3 hours, proofread within 30 minutes, quality-check within 1 hour. Yes, go ahead, curse at me. Or replace me by applying for the quality-checker position. The rest of the time, I spent...dealing with the flooding life responsibilities (and fainaiguing...yay~)
Thank you for waiting this LONG, my beloved readers.
*swimming in ennui*
*glances lazily at Oukoku's script...*
*crawls back to the filthy nest*
No, no new update. Just the loot from Seoul. I have decided to switch to the tankobon raw for VL once we hit the last chapter we got from the digital magazine (Chapter 34, equates to Volume 7's Chapter 1). Right now, we are at Chapter 26 (Volume 6 Chapter 1)
I will try to release the new chapter of Tales of the Kingdom and Majo to Yajuu this month, but no promise. We are still deluding ourselves with the holiday spirits.
Merry Yule and Happy New Year 2019 in advance!
You guys probably expect some releases... My apologies, but this year we won't do Christmas/New Year releases. My schedule this month is very punishing, so I won't have time to manage Whatever until mid January. Please wait patiently until next year! (Wow, that sounds almost long)
Thank you everyone who gave us donations. The server is successfully renewed for another year! Biggest thanks to B who also covered the domain fee as well! You probably cannot tell from my tone but please know that I am very happy.
We're now considering using tankobon raws from chapter 34 onwards for Vampire Library! I will make sure to buy extra copies of Vampire Library after the New Year holiday.
By the way, to anyone who is living in Seoul, why is it not snowing on Yule?!?!?! lol This is wrong. *chuckles*
